Well-known auto parts manufacturing plants in 13 locations, including Dalian, Nantong, Langfang, Chongqing, Daqing, Zhaoqing, Chengdu, Taizhou, Hefei, Wuhan, Hangzhou, and Nanchang, conduct monthly patch reinforcement and updates for approximately 150 VMware and Windows operating systems in the factory data centers to ensure the security and compliance of core business systems.
Solution
  • Yuchen has set up a 5-person team to determine the patches to be updated at the beginning of each month and sort out the patch information;
  • From the 1st to the 15th of each month, confirm the production plan and update patch downtime window with the local IT of each site and formulate the update plan;
  • Enterprise patches are released on the 1st of each month, and team members must complete patch updates for all operating systems before the 20th of each month.
  • After the patch update is completed, notify the local IT team via email and Teams, and promptly cooperate to check the availability of applications and services;
