Two-location, three-center strategic deployment for large enterprises

IT Projects

Customer needs

The enterprise data center has two sites, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Shanghai serves as the primary site, while Guangzhou serves as the secondary site. Due to the office's location in Guangzhou, geographical limitations severely constrained and challenged the process required for building and managing data centers. To meet continued business growth and reduce maintenance costs, the company needed to consolidate the existing Shanghai and Guangzhou data centers, with the Guangzhou site serving as the production center and the Shanghai site as the backup center. The existing infrastructure was also upgraded, ultimately achieving the goal of a "two-site, three-center" architecture.

Solution
  • Phase 1: Construction of Guangzhou Data Center A. Construction, upgrade, integration, and verification of Guangzhou VMware business. Construction, upgrade, integration, and verification of Guangzhou Oracle RAC+ADG business. Implementing VMware active-active through VMSC technology. • Phase 2: New Guangzhou Data Center B, dual active in the same city
  • Phase 3: Shanghai Remote Disaster Recovery: Shanghai joins the entire architecture, achieving two locations and three centers in Shanghai and Guangzhou, local active-active, and remote disaster recovery.
