Top International Cybersecurity Teams Compete on the Same Stage
On August 6, 2026, Splunk APAC BOTS Day 2026 (Boss of the SOC) successfully concluded. As one of the most prominent hands-on cybersecurity competitions in the Asia-Pacific region, this year’s event brought together more than 100 outstanding cybersecurity teams from across APAC. The Universal-PC team stood out among strong competitors with its solid security analysis capabilities, extensive security operations experience, and highly effective teamwork, ultimately securing Second Place in the competition—another testament to Universal-PC’s professional expertise in security operations and hands-on cyber defense.

As one of the key hands-on competitions within the global Splunk security community, BOTS Day simulates real-world cyberattack scenarios to comprehensively evaluate teams’ capabilities in security monitoring, threat detection, incident investigation, attack attribution, and incident response. Beyond strong technical expertise, the competition also tests teams’ ability to rapidly analyze complex attack scenarios and make effective decisions under pressure.
At this year’s event, the M4X2 team, jointly formed by Universal-PC and its customer, delivered an outstanding performance with strong security analysis and agile response capabilities. The team scored 57,473 points, ranking among the top teams in the APAC region and ultimately securing Second Place at APAC BOTS Day 2026.
